Anna Bon Joins the Supervisory Board of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University

Kyiv, Ukraine, Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ukrainian entrepreneur, DeHealth co-founder, and Energy Nation initiative leader Anna Bondarenko (Anna Bon) has joined the Supervisory Board of one of Ukraine's leading law universities. Her appointment comes amid the expansion of her international activities and growing attention to digital rights, artificial intelligence, and online reputation protection.

Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University has announced the new composition of its Supervisory Board, approved by Ukraine's Ministry of Education and Science. Among its members is Anna Bondarenko, also known as Anna Bon, a Ukrainian entrepreneur, co-founder of the international health technology project DeHealth, and founder of the DeHealth Charitable Foundation.

The Board also includes representatives of Ukraine's Supreme Court, the judiciary, public administration, and the legal community. It contributes to the university's strategic development and strengthens its engagement with professional institutions and society.

Technology, Education, and International Entrepreneurship

Anna Bon works at the intersection of digital healthcare, artificial intelligence, energy, and infrastructure development. Together with technology entrepreneur Denys Tsvaig, fellow co-founder of DeHealth, she develops international initiatives focused on digital health and technology infrastructure.

DeHealth's relationship with Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University dates back to 2022, when the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation covering digital healthcare, legal regulation, and scientific research.

Anna Bon's appointment creates further opportunities for dialogue between the technology sector and legal academia, particularly in areas such as AI regulation, medical data protection, cybersecurity, and digital sovereignty.

Anna Bon Takes a Stand Against Alleged Online Extortion

As her international business and public activities have expanded, Anna Bondarenko has faced a series of online attacks. According to her representatives, a network of anonymous websites has circulated nearly identical allegations targeting the entrepreneur, Denys Tsvaig, and DeHealth, accompanied by threats and demands for payment in exchange for removing the publications.

Anna Bon has refused to pay to stop the attacks. Her team states that formal complaints and supporting evidence have been submitted to law enforcement authorities in Ukraine and relevant European jurisdictions.

Her representatives also report that some disputed publications have stopped appearing in Google search results. Efforts are ongoing to identify the websites' operators and individuals allegedly involved in the extortion attempts.

"I will not finance people who have turned defamation and threats into a business. When someone demands money to remove an article, that is no longer journalism - it is a matter for law enforcement. Freedom of speech must never become a cover for extortion," said Anna Bondarenko.

Her team believes such practices pose a broader threat to the business community. The mass distribution of anonymous allegations can cause substantial reputational damage long before their accuracy has been established.

Anna Bon intends to pursue legal remedies concerning the alleged threats and financial demands while advocating stronger mechanisms to protect digital rights and ensure accountability for abusive online practices.

A New Role in Legal Education

Anna Bondarenko's participation in the university's Supervisory Board brings together two important dimensions of her work: technology entrepreneurship and public engagement.

As artificial intelligence and the digital economy continue to evolve, cooperation among legal professionals, entrepreneurs, and public institutions is becoming increasingly important in developing frameworks that protect both innovation and individual rights.

Her appointment reflects the growing importance of practical technology experience in discussions about the future of legal education and the legal challenges of digital transformation.
